THE mobile telephone service provider, Airtel has sponsored a two day seminar for photojournalists for the second time in Dar es Salaam through its banking service, Airtel Money.
The seminar that has brought together journalists from 15 media houses has been organised by a Dar es Salaam based company, MP5 2011 Entertainment, aimed to provide audience for veteran photojournalists to exchange ideas with journalists to improve their profession.
Speaking on behalf of the participants, one of the veteran photojournalists in Tanzania, Selemani Mpochi said the seminar had given them an opportunity to discuss important issues on how to work
efficiently.
"In fact Airtel Money and organizers have to be congratulated as for second year have managed to bring us together. It is not is for us to meet like this without external support due to the circumstances of our job," said Mpochi.
He said the kind of seminars would also give a chance to Airtel Money customers to understand how that service can be used to improve their living for the benefit of the nation.
At least 20 journalists and photojournalists participated the seminar held at Msimbazi Center, in which they discussed different development issues that could be achieved.
